Rommie was a beloved nephew, a loving son to Bassam and Jumana Fakhoury Khalifeh, and a dear brother to Rana Mazzetta and Jenna Khalifeh. His untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him, and the world is a dimmer place without his bright presence.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Donnellan Family Funeral Home, located at 10045 Skokie Blvd., Skokie, IL 60077. Following the visitation, there will be a memorial meal where friends and family can gather to remember Rommie and celebrate his life. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, located at 1401 Wagner Road, Glenview, IL 60025. After the service, Rommie will be laid to rest at Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, where he will find his final resting place.
Following the burial, a memorial meal will be held, allowing those in attendance to share their cherished memories of Rommie. Rommie Khalifeh’s passing is a poignant reminder of the fragility of life. He was a promising young man who had much to offer the world, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
