He is the father of the football player Nico Marley and the model Selah Marley. He is the son of the reggae musician Bob Marley and Janet Hunt. He was born during the time when his father was still married to Rita, living in with her when he was four years old until Marley’s mother took him in after his father passed away from cancer in Miami in 1981.
In Jamaica’s Blue Mountains, he co-founded Marley Coffee in 2009, an organic coffee plantation and sustainable agricultural enterprise. The majority of the coffee purchased through Marley Coffee comes from Ethiopia, though. On a 52-acre estate in Portland Parish, the company is operated.
